Other than a couple of short trips, we took a year and a half off of traveling to remodel our retirement home in Skanee, uproot ourselves from Marquette and move to the shores of Huron Bay.
That done, we're ready to hit the road again . . . this time it's a Retirement Celebration Tour with our good friends, Pat & Bobbie Cleary, BUT, before we leave one of the snowiest (is that a word?) winters in years . . . we had to have one more play date in the beautiful U.P. snow!! Last Saturday we all met at Cleary's camp in Twin Lake where the guys shoveled and shoveled and shoveled so we could get into all necessary buildings . . . the camp, the outhouse and the sauna!
Once everything was open and ready for our return . . . we headed to the annual Trenary Outhouse Races! It was a beautiful day and everyone was festive!!
We had a great night with wonderful food, good beverages, a hot sauna and fantastic friends!! Thanks Bobbie & Pat for the fun in the snow . . . now for that sunshine!!
