California Dreamin'

September 19, 2010 – Another busy day!  We got to Petaluma, California where Angie now resides (Petaluma is known for the invention of the egg incubator and as the location where American Graffiti was filmed).  We visited Angie’s school, Sky Hill Institute (http://www.skyhillinstitute.org/), and went to lunch with some of her friends at Dempsey’s (http://www.dempseys.com/index.html)  - they don’t do microwaves, freezers OR canned foods – EVERYTHING is made fresh daily.

After checking into our hotel, we headed to San Francisco.  After another great Sushi dinner (I know, we’ve been obsessed with it but it’s soooooooo good here), we cruised the downtown area until we brought Allison to the airport to catch a flight back to Seattle.  We sure enjoyed our visit with her and it was so hard to say good-bye.
