September 25, 2010 - My cousin Randy (numero uno of the “Koski grandchildren”) treated us and my Aunt Wimp to a nice breakfast and took us to one of the only places that Joe likes to shop . . . Bass Pro Shop. We found some great binoculars that we plan to use at the Grand Canyon tomorrow and Joe was happy to find some fishing hooks that he’s had trouble getting.
Randy steered us on a great route (Thanks, Randy!) - I can’t even describe how beautiful our ride was today. We stopped in Sedona (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sedona), Arizona to take in the beauty of the red rocks before moving on to Flagstaff. It was funny to see Mackinac Island Fudge in Arizona!!
We decided to spend a quiet night so we can get an early start to the Grand Canyon . . . that’s before we realized that an entire league of 9-year-old soccer players are staying in our hotel. Wow, this place is rocking!! We walked the city and were shocked how cold we felt in 70 degree temps – it was 104 when we left Scottsdale!!
Until tomorrow . . .

Sue- Looks like you and Joe are having so much fun! Keep the posts and pics coming. They are highlights of my day! Nancy
