September 24, 2010 - Great family, great time!! We had sooooooooooooo much fun with my cousins and were so touched that they all gathered to greet us (of course, we were surprise guests to most of them so they may have been expecting someone better, ha).
All of the “Ross Kids” made it . . . Larry & Kathi, Bob & Jill, Sandy & Jim (our gracious hosts) along with their kids Jesse & Nicole (with Nicole’s sister, Melissa) and Lisa & Vince and Martha & Bob! Grandma & Grandpa Olson, my Dad and Auntie Tootsie & Uncle Earl would have been so happy to see us all having a good time together, just like we did in the “old days”!! We had a wonderful dinner and a lot of laughs J
Next on our agenda was a visit to my Mom’s sister, Wilma . . . Auntie Wimp to us, in Scottsdale. Auntie Wimp is the person who gifted us with our trip mascot, Free Bear J
After a nice lunch at Wimp’s house, Joe & I walked around her neighborhood, stopping to feed the carp in her pond – spoiled fish . . . they ate right out of Joe’s hand – now why couldn’t the salmon in Puget Sound be that friendly!? Wimp was laughing when we returned so quickly – she knew we wouldn’t walk long in 100 degree heat!
Tonight’s cuisine is Mexican – I probably won’t have access to Internet later so will catch up tomorrow.
In the meantime, Hasta la vista, baby!

Looks like a fun time! I haven't seen Aunt Wimp in years - she looks great! Our koi sure aren't that friendly. Maybe it has something to do with the heat. It's been between 50-60 hear and in beautiful Fall colors. Miss you!
