September 8, 2010 – We woke up to a sunny, but slightly cool, North Dakota day – much better than the rain and clouds that followed us yesterday. After a quick Fairfield Motel breakfast, we were “On the Road Again”. The scenery started out flat and not too exciting but as we traveled further west the flatlands turned to hills and valleys then beautiful mountains. We were entertained by watching the antelope and buffalo roam. Today the travel wasn’t as grueling as we made a couple of stops – did you ever notice how a man can’t find a mall if it’s right across the street but can travel miles to a Cabela’s J We also took a “Cold Stone Creamery” break right near the entrance to Yellow Stone Park and the view of the mountains was breathtaking!! We're bunked in Missoula, Montana tonight after a 750 mile jaunt. Turning in after a brew and a burger at the Montana Club next to our hotel.
