September 11, 2010 – We woke up at 4:30 a.m. to catch our fishing charter in Everett, Washington. Weatherwise, it was a perfect day . . . fishwise, we were SKUNKED (our Skanee family knows we’ve been attracting skunks lately)! I guess we’ll head to Pike’s Market to BUY our fish! Looking at the glass half full, however, it was a beautiful 8 hours on Puget Sound with the sun shining and sea lions and porpoises entertaining us. Mt. Rainier was even out today – those of you familiar with Seattle know that it’s a good day when the “Mountain is out” from the clouds.
After spending the day on the water, we had fish on our minds and walked down to The Crab Pot for dinner – we had a pail of shrimp, mussels, crab legs, potatoes and corn-on-the-cob. It was a good day – the mountain was out J
It looked like a wonderful day for the Cherrette family! Although you didn't catch any fish it sure looked like the dinner was a perfect make up catch! I love how happy all of you look!
