Ft. Wayne - Retired Another One!!

The alarm rang at 3:00 a.m. to let us know our vacation had begun!!  We picked up Bobbie & Pat Cleary, our road trip partners, and Beauds to deliver her to the airport to catch a flight to see her kids and grandkids.  After she checked in and with a "see you in Florida", we were Ft. Wayne, Indiana bound.  We had a nice easy drive and were warmly greeted by our good friends from Marquette, Kay (Peterson) and John Presensky.  John also retired on February 28th so it was only fitting that this was the first stop on the Cleary Retirement Celebration Tour.  The celebration called for cold beverages :-) and great appetizers.  Bobbie & I picked up some wonderful recipes to dazzle our friends back home.  We took a walk around their premises for a little exercise before a fantastic dinner prepared by Chefs Kay & John.  We had a lot of laughs and shared some great stories.  Better than a 5-star hotel, we had an array of toiletries on our nightstands and awakened to a delicious breakfast.  We bid farewell and hit the road.

As an added bonus, we joined Chad & Jenny Cleary outside of Indianapolis for lunch.  We were so excited to see them that we forgot to take their picture - we'll have to get one on the way home.
