Good-bye NOLA!!

We spent a day of walking . . . the French Quarter, the parks, shops, stopping at Felix's for a little of the Nawlins cuisine.  I found that I like alligator!  We stopped for a couple at our favorite pub - Voodoo Vibe to hear a set from the Blackouts, a band we all really like.  It was a much needed mellow day compared to the previous when we took New Orleans like a storm!  We sat in the rooftop hot tub for a spell then joined a couple we met from Alabama at the happy hour in our hotel lounge.  Joe & I walked to a deli/grocery store a few blocks away so he could get the crawfish he was craving.  He wasn't disappointed.

New Orleans was all we hoped it would be and more!

Off to Gulf Shores, Alabama . . .
