Just wrapping up 2 days filled with family, food and fun in
Nashville, Tennessee at my cousin, Lori Ward’s house. We were greeted by Lori, her cousin, Rick,
son, Adam, daughter, Molly and we got to meet Molly’s daughter, beautiful
Addy. It was so nice of them to drive
from Murfreesboro to meet us! We had a
great night of visiting and catching up before taking in the Nashville sites
the following morning. First stop, Grand
‘Ol Opry Hotel. What an amazing
collection of gardens, waterfalls, fountains, restaurants and pubs . . . all in
one building!! We enjoyed walking below
the dorm with the sun shining in, giving us our first taste of summer
weather. Next stop, downtown
Nashville! We had to cruise through the
infamous Tootsie’s Bar, a favorite watering hole and career launching pad of
many stars! We visited a variety of
stores and sites before heading back to Lori’s for some down home Tennessee
food fare . . . pulled pork. We had a
great evening and in spite of an unbelievable thunderstorm, woke up refreshed
and ready for the next adventure. Thank
you, Lori!!

ReplyDeleteNice to see pictures of Laurie and family! Now that you've been singing with the King, I suppose you'll want to sing with 'Belvis' at Harborfest this summer. Nice pics of you and Bobbie but poor Joe and Pat get picks taken with some 'ass'!
