The End of the Natchez Trace

Today we spent some time exploring Elvis Presley's birthplace and learned a few new things about The King . . . did you know he was born a twin but his brother died at birth?

We did some exploring along the Natchez Trace - what a beautiful passage from Nashville to New Orleans - we all highly recommend it for a relaxing ride with unending scenery!!  History lurks all around you as you follow the trail set by our ancestors!!

We ended up in Vidalia, Louisiana where we spent the night taking advantage of our amenities - they had a great pool and hot tub (Anne & Tony - I actually got in and out safely without bouncing off of my tail bone).

Off for a morning hike, breakfast and on to New Orleans . . .
